The vehicle promises to redefine urban transportation by eliminating drivers and reducing costs. With a technology based exclusively on video cameras and artificial intelligence, Tesla is innovating in front of the competition that uses more complex systems like LiDAR. What can await us in 2025? After launch, 2025 could mark the expansion of Tesla's robotaxi services to multiple cities around the world. The short and long term challenges Even if the launch of the robotaxi marks impressive progress, Tesla faces important obstacles: *The regulations*: Governments around the world will need to pass laws to allow fully autonomous vehicles on public roads. *Safety*: Questions will remain about handling unpredictable traffic situations. *Social Acceptance*: The public must trust the technology to adopt it widely.
