Aliant supports innovation in education: AMECA, the most advanced humanoid robot at "Vasile Alecsandri" University in Bacău! 🚀
Aliant, technology integrator and trusted partner of the “Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, is proud to contribute to a landmark project for education and research in Romania. The university recently acquired AMECA, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, installed within the Artificial Intelligence laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering.
AMECA, a first for Romania, represents an exceptional technological platform, combining artificial intelligence with advanced robotic design. The robot will be used for teaching and research activities, offering students and teachers the opportunity to develop and apply innovative solutions, using the Python programming language and the Tritium operating system.
Through close collaboration with the University, Aliant ensures technological integration and supports the adoption of the latest innovations. AMECA is equipped with advanced microphones, binocular cameras for facial recognition, articulated arms and motorized capabilities that faithfully reproduce human movements. These functionalities allow intuitive interactions and provide an ideal environment for testing and developing advanced solutions in the field of robotics.
This achievement is part of the PNRR project "Developing skills for future professions through digitalization at "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacău", and Aliant reaffirms its commitment to supporting the transition to a digitalized education, preparing tomorrow's specialists for the technological challenges of the future.
