The university recently acquired AMECA, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, installed within the Artificial Intelligence laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering. AMECA, a first for Romania, represents an exceptional technological platform, combining artificial intelligence with advanced robotic design. These functionalities allow intuitive interactions and provide an ideal environment for testing and developing advanced solutions in the field of robotics. This achievement is part of the PNRR project "Developing skills for future professions through digitalization at "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacău", and Aliant reaffirms its commitment to supporting the transition to a digitalized education, preparing tomorrow's specialists for the technological challenges of the future.
